Potassium carbonate sesquihydrate is a salt that contains an equimolar amount of potassium and sodium, which is used in the production of paints, coatings, and adhesives. It has high solubility in water (up to 8 g/100 mL) and alkaline solubility (up to 40 g/100 mL). The product also displays good thermal stability up to 200°C.
