Potassium oxalate is a salt that contains an ion (2) of potassium and (oxalate) group. It's produced by the reaction between sodium carbonate and oxalic acid. Purity 99.9% is commercially available in crystalline form, which has a deep-yellow color similar to table sugar; it's odorless as well.
