Pre-impregnated Composite Fiber is a fiber which has been pre-impregnated with resin. This fiber is important because it can be used to create strong, lightweight composites which are resistant to corrosion and fatigue.

Epoxy resin is a thermosetting polymer, which contains an internal amorphous matrix. It is produced by the reaction of an amino group ( usually glycine) with a high-temperature catalyst such as aluminum trichloride or zinc chloride. The epoxy resins are used in pre-impregnated composite fibers to form an integral protective coating on the fiber's surface and also provides mechanical strength to it.
Phenolic Resin:
Phenolic resins are natural compounds that occur in some plants and animals.
