Pressure controlled heat pipes are a type of heating technology that uses the principle of thermal expansion and contraction to transfer heat. The pipes are made from metal or plastic and have small holes in them that allow the passage of air and water vapor. When heated, these gases expand, pushing their way through the tiny holes in the pipe. This causes a decrease in pressure on one side of the pipe, which then allows cooler water to flow into place to take up the slack created by the expanding gas.
