Dry method is a separation process in which the solid particles are separated from the liquid using air as a medium. The dry method is used for separating various types of slurry such as emulsion, suspension and solution. It’s major applications include paints & coatings, printing ink, adhesives & sealants and polyurethane among others.
Wet Method:
The wet method is used to separate oil and slurry in polyurethane. It is also known as the emulsion method. In this process, water is added into a polyurethane liquid-based formulation and then emulsified with an air suspension of solid particles using a spinning blade or spray gun.
