Double-Sided:
Double-sided or two-sided mechanical seals are used in nuclear power plants for the purpose of preventing water leakage and leakage of other liquids. These products are manufactured using high performance materials such as silicon nitride, ceramic, zirconia and boron carbide. The product is available in different forms such as rings, discs and pads among others which cater to a wide range of applications including steam generator tubes & pipes, control rods & stirrups among others.
