Liquid resins are used to manufacture various products such as coatings, adhesives and sealants, composites, and others which include flooring & roofing tiles among others.
Powder Resin:
Powder resin is a thermosetting polymer that contains fine particles of thermoplastic matrix. It is produced by heating plastic powder in the presence of catalysts or crosslinking agents at elevated temperatures. The most commonly used catalysts are sulfur, phosphorus and nitrogen compounds along with other rare earth metals like cerium, yttrium and dysprosium.
