Flanged Resistance Thermometers:
Flanged resistance thermometers are used to measure the temperature of a liquid or a gas. It is an indirect measurement instrument, which means that it measures temperature by measuring some property (force) associated with the substance. In other words, it is used to measure and detect heat energy from various sources such as chemical reactions, thermal radiation and conduction.
