In-series, also known as internal series or internal feed, is a type of circuit connection in which the signal is passed from one component to another without going through any external components. Between-series:
The between-series RF adapters are used to connect two different types of series-connected devices. The first device is usually a wireless module, which needs to be connected with the second device via an optical or coaxial cable.
