Power generation initiator is an electrical device used to start the process of generating electricity from a source of energy. The main function of this device is to convert the energy received from the source into high voltage which then drives electric generators. Power generation initiators are also known as power gens or prime movers and are classified according to their usage i.e., stationary, portable, vehicle-based and rail-based systems.


Capacitive Initiator:


The capacitive initiator is a device that generates an electric field to initiate the start of a rocket motor. The working principle of the device is based on the change in capacitance when an electric current is passed through it.


As soon as electricity flows through this coil, its internal parts generate a magnetic field which attracts all nearby charged particles to come and join in the fun (the ionization).
