Product Definition:


A sacrificial anode is a piece of metal (usually zinc, magnesium or aluminum) that is used to corrode faster than the metal object it is protecting. This flow of electricity prevents corrosion on the surface of the protected metal.

Aluminum anodes are used in the treatment of magnesium and calcium salts. It is also used as a substitute for lead in batteries. Zinc Anodes:


Zinc anodes are used in the treatment of diseases such as zinc deficiency, which is caused by poor diet or illness. Zinc anode acts as a storage place for zinc when it is not being used by the body and can be replenished through oral intake or a injection. The most common symptom of zinc deficiency is hair loss. In addition, low levels of testosterone and infertility may also result from zinc deficiencies.
