AC contactors:
AC contactors are used in the manufacturing process of semiconductor devices. They are also used as switching devices to control power flow in various applications such as electric motor, switch mode power supply and inverter, etc. AC contactors can be single or multi-phase device. The working principle of an AC contactor is based on condensation that forms between two metallic surfaces when a current is passed through it.
