Acetic acid is a chemical compound with the formula (H2CO)2. It has a strong, unpleasant odor similar to vinegar and causes severe skin burns. The substance is in the form of an ortho-phthalate salt known as acetic anhydride or just "acetic acid". It readily dissolves in water and alcohol, but not in acids.
Hydrofluoric Acid:
Hydrofluoric acid is a highly corrosive, strong, and toxic industrial chemical. It is a by-product of the phosphate fertilizer industry and is also used as an etching agent in the semiconductor industry. The product has no commercial use other than for etching purposes in the semiconductor industry.
The product finds application as an electrolyte in mercury cell batteries which are used for power generation purposes across the globe.
