Furthermore, it has a low dispersion coefficient which helps to keep the image quality intact while transmitting light through the lens thereby enhancing visibility.
Soda Mask:
Soda mask is a thin sheet of aluminum that is used in the projection system to block light from reaching certain areas during wafer testing. It's main function is to create an accurate test pattern on the wafer by using a laser or LED source. The test pattern can be seen with uncoated wafers but not with coated ones, which makes it necessary to use a soda mask for each type of substrate and technology.
