Sewage sludge recycling is the process of treating sewage sludge so that it can be reused. This is often done by spreading the sludge on land as a fertilizer or soil amendment. Dewatering:


Dewatering is a process to remove water from a substance. There are two types of dewatering methods namely active and passive. In the passive method, air is forced into the substance under pressure to force out the water. The most common application of this method is in sugar mills where raw sugarcane or bagasse are processed into white sugar or brown sugar by forcing steam through them using pipes known as boilers.


Anaerobic Treatment:


Anaerobic treatment is a process in which microorganisms such as bacteria, archaea and protozoa are used to breakdown organic matter and degradable waste products. Anaerobic digestion is the process of converting organic substances into carbon dioxide, water, and methane gas.
