Sheet based waterproofing membranes are used to prevent water infiltration in buildings. They are made of a variety of materials, including but not limited to polyethylene, vinyl, and rubber. Waterproofing membranes are made from materials that are substantially non-transparent and have a high percentage of solid content. Waterproofing membranes can be installed on any type of building structure including wood, concrete, stone masonry or steel as long as the structure has an external facing surface.


Brown:


The brown color in waterproofing membranes is caused due to the presence of organic substances such as cellulose, vegetable oils and waxes. Cellulose fiber exhibits high tensile strength and acts as an excellent binder for waterproofing materials. Vegetable oil & wax based waterproofing sheets are used on a large scale owing to their low cost, easy availability and environment friendly nature.
