Room Temperature Vulcanization(RTV):
RTV stands for room temperature vulcanization and it is a type of silicone rubber that is extruded as a liquid, which then sets into a flexible sheet. It has several advantages over the other types of vulcanized rubber including high tensile strength, abrasion resistance, flexibility at low temperatures and better processability.
