Single-phase transformers are used to change the voltage of alternating current (AC) electricity. Low Frequency:


Low frequency is the vibration of electrical conductors at or below 50 hertz. Low frequency AC current flows through high resistance copper wire because of its low electric field strength. Intermediate frequency is the middle band of a three-band electrical filter. The IGBT technology uses an intermediate frequency to monitor itself for self-healing properties; this property makes it more efficient than traditional devices that use high or low frequencies for the same purpose.
