Purity 90% is a special type of calcium carbonate or limestone, which has been processed to remove all impurities. It contains 90% pure calcium carbonate and 10% water. Purity 90%, when used in slaked lime (calcium hydroxide) production, provides the highest yield of high quality product with minimum cost overheads and maximum profit for the producer/manufacturer as it reduces the overall process time by half.
