Smart Glass is a transparent material that can change its opacity. It usually consists of two panels of glass, with an electronic display or liquid crystal sandwiched between them. When the voltage is turned off, the molecules return to their original position and light passes through again. This allows Smart Glass to be used as a window shade or mirror.

It has several advantages over traditional windows such as high thermal resistance, noise reduction, and low energy consumption.
