Product Definition:
A soil blocker is a tool used to make soil blocks. They are made of plastic or metal and have a number of different shapes, but all have small holes in them that allow the air to escape as the block is formed. Soil blockers come in many sizes, but most are about 4 inches square and 2 inches deep.
Soil blocks are made by filling the blocker with moistened soil, then pressing down on it to form a block. The excess soil can be scraped off with a knife or spatula, leaving a clean-edged block that can then be removed from the blocker.
