Metal noise barriers are used to reduce the sound in a building. They are installed between the floors and walls of a structure, and can be placed under carpeting, wood flooring or tiles. The product is made from steel sheets that have been perforated to allow air through but prevent sound from transferring back into the room.
Fiberglass Noise Barriers:
Fiberglass noise barriers are panels made from glass fibers that have been coated with a resin. They are used to reduce the sound in rooms, buildings and other structures. Fiberglass noise barriers act as an acoustic wall and absorb sound waves. They can be easily installed on any surface such as concrete, wood or steel; however they should be placed right against the source of sound so that they can act accordingly.
