ACSR/AW:


ACSR/AW is a type of aluminum-silicon alloy, which contains about 15% aluminum and the balance is made up of silicon. The product has low electrical resistivity and can easily be used in transmission lines as well as for power cables. It also offers high flexibility, corrosion resistance, good dielectric strength & insulation properties along with easy installation characteristics.


ACSR/TW:


ACSR/TW is an alloy of aluminum and steel which has a composition of about 68% to 32% by weight of aluminum. It has the property that it can be bent, but not broken like other alloys. The TW ( Transformation temperature Wire) version is softer than the ACSR ( Aluminum Clad Steel Reinforced) version and can be used up to 1,500°C without any problems whereas ACSR cannot go beyond 800°C.
