Multi Channel Strain Gauge Amplifier:
Multi-channel strain gauge amplifier is used to amplify the strain gauge signal. It consists of a strain gage mounted on an elastic substrate and transducer which converts electrical signals into mechanical vibrations. The mechanical vibrations are then amplified and sent to a measuring instrument or display device for analysis. Multi channel amplifiers can measure strains up to 10^6 in any plane, but are commonly used for orthogonal measurement such as tensile, compressive, shear etc.
