Product Definition:
Sulphur is an element that is found in the Earth's crust. It has many important uses, including as a component of fertilizers, in making matches, and in the production of sulfuric acid.

Natural gas is generally composed of hydrogen and nitrogen. It is formed from the condensation of atmospheric gases, which are mostly methane and carbon dioxide. Natural gas has a distinct smell that comes from the presence of off-gassing chemicals. This smell can be detected at very low concentrations, making it one of the most convenient fuels for use in fireplaces, stoves, barbeque grills and other heating devices.
Crude Oil:
Crude oil is a basic form of petroleum liquid which is extracted from the ground up rock. It has a high boiling point and low viscosity. The most commonly used crude oils are light, medium and heavy (LMW). They can also be segmented on the basis of various characteristics such as color, sulfur content etc.
Application Insights:
Sulphuric acid (chemical processing) was the largest application segment and accounted for over 50% of the total market volume in 2017. The chemical is used as a raw material for manufacturing various products including fertilizers, metal ores, and concentrates. The demand from agricultural sector is expected to remain strong owing to rising population coupled with increasing disposable income levels in developing countries such as India & China.
