Originated From Agricultural Waste & Biomass:
This is a research study done by the Institute for Energy and Environmental Research, Inc. (IEEF) in June 2014. The study has been done on the impact of agricultural waste & biomass on producing sustainable natural gas (SNG). SNG is formed from processing solid or liquid waste materials such as sewage sludge, food scrapes, wood chips and other farm wastes which are used as feedstock for power plants to generate electricity.
From Synthetic Natural Gas:
From synthetic natural gas (FNG) is a mixture of gases that are produced by the chemical reaction between syngas and NGL. It contains hydrogen, carbon monoxide, ethane, propane and nitrogen along with other impurities. FNG can be used as a substitute for conventional fossil fuels such as coal or petroleum products in applications such as power generation or transportation fuel systems.
Application Insights:
The application segment includes building, industry, power plant and others. Building was the largest application segment in 2016 accounting for over 50% of the total demand. The growing construction sector across various countries is expected to remain a key driver for market growth over the forecast period.
Industry emerged as the second-largest consuming customer within this category in terms of volume and is anticipated to grow at a CAGR of XX% from 2017 to 2030. Increasing useage of NG throughout petrochemical plants as an industrial feedstock along with its derivatives such as fertilizers & pesticides is projected to boost industry growth during the study period.
