Syntactic foams typically have higher compressive strength and stiffness than traditional polymer foams, making them well suited for use in structural applications such as marine hulls, wind turbine blades, and aircraft components.
Sheet Form:
Sheet form is a thin, flat, and flexible fabric that is formed by weaving or knitting. It can be used as an alternative to foam for packaging and insulation applications. The material has high tensile strength due to which it can be used in the fabrication of various products such as furniture, bedding & mattresses, automotive components & accessories among others.
Rod Form:
Rod form is a cross-linked polymeric material that has the ability to retain its original shape under load. It can be used as an alternative to conventional bulkier forms of foams such as expanded polystyrene and low density Polyurethane (PU). Rod form foams are produced by the reaction of polymer resin with alkali catalysts or without any added catalyst.
