Purity 99.9%-99.99% is a type of rare earth metal powder which has high thermal and electrical conductivity, corrosion resistance, and magnetic properties similar to that of platinum. It is produced using the separation process known as High Purity Rare Earths (HPRE) technology which involves fractional distillation from ores containing other metals such as iron, titanium, etc., at very high temperatures (around 2200°C).
