Regenerative Thermal Oxidizer (RTO):


Regenerative thermal oxidizer (RTO) is a heat exchanger that uses the principle of thermodynamics to convert waste heat into useful energy. In this process, oxygen and other oxidizing agents are used as the raw material for producing water. The RTO system works by harnessing waste heat from industrial processes or electricity generation and transferring it to an electrolytic tank where it is broken down into hydrogen and oxygen by means of a catalyst.
