Elastomers are polymers with the elasticity of rubber and the resilience of plastic. They can be classified as thermoplastic elastomers (TPEs) or thermosetting elastomers. TPEs are flexible, soft, and resilient; while thermosetting elastomers are hard, rigid, and strong.
Application Insights:
