Travelling speed 25m/min is the maximum attainable speed of a tower crane with loaded truck in lift mode. It is an important factor to be considered while designing a tower crane lifting system. The travelling speed 25m/min has to be less than or equal to the groundspeed of the vehicle (vehicle travel speed).
The groundspeed of vehicles can be determined by using wheel alignment and tire pressure monitoring systems, among others.
