The Rock Positive Triaxial Testing Machine is used in the testing of soil for its resistance to penetration by rock-embedded materials. The machine consists of a vertical stroke mechanism that can test up to 24 samples at a time and provides data on the effective stress, shear strength, and friction angle.


It's working principle is based on triangulation method where three points are selected from sample surface; this information helps determine characteristics such as effective stress, friction angle etc.
