Alcohol stabilized grade is a product that contains stabilizing agents such as ethanol, sodium methanearsonate and/or calcium carbonate. It helps in preventing the reaction of chloromethanes with oxygen which results in less production of formaldehyde and more production of trichloromethane.
Application Insights:
The anesthetic application segment dominated the global market in 2017. The chemical is used as a general anesthetic and for surgical procedures where there is a high risk of physical pain after regaining consciousness, such as dentistry and gynecology.
