A two-wheeler knock sensor is a device that senses the knocking noise in an engine. It then sends this information to the ECU, which can then adjust the timing of the ignition spark accordingly. This helps to reduce or eliminate engine knocking, which can cause damage over time.


Resonant Flat Response Knock Sensors:


Resonant flat response (RFR) knock sensors are a new type of sensor that uses the natural frequency of vibration of the object to measure its speed. The RFRK is used in electric vehicles and motorcycles for detecting accidental or unintentional low-speed collisions. These sensors have an advantage over conventional systems as they can detect low-speed collisions even when the vehicle is stationary, which other systems cannot do.


Non-Resonant Flat Response Knock Sensors:


Non-resonant flat response (NRFR) knock sensors are used in two-wheeler engines to detect the impact of another object. The other object could be a passenger, an animal or any other external agency that may cause damage to the engine if not detected. These sensors are placed on both sides of the frame above and below the front wheel in a two-wheeler engine.
