It uses a process where the product to be heated is placed in a container which has been pre-heated by means of an external source of heat. Indirect Heating UHT System:
An indirect heating system is a type of thermal process used to sterilize milk and dairy products. In this system, there is no need for costly temperature-controlled storage equipment as the product is pasteurized by being exposed to steam that has been pre-heated by the boiler.
