Acoustic:


Acoustic is the most prominent and widely used non-contact sensing technology. It is a vibration or sound wave that travels through the ground and reflects off of objects located beneath it. The reflected waves are captured by an acoustic sensor, which converts them into electrical signals. These electrical signals are then processed by an electronic device to determine information about the environment beneath the device.
