Thermopile IR Detector:
Thermopile IR detector is a device used to detect objects in total darkness. It works on the principle of thermopile which consists of two pines or thermocouples insulated with heat-sensitive material. As soon as an object comes near the IR source, it generates heat and causes one of the pines to rise while other stays at same temperature.
