Urticaria Drug is a histamine blocker used to treat and prevent hives.
Acute Urticaria:
Acute urticaria is a type of urticaria that occurs with symptoms such as itchy skin, swelling of the tongue and hives. It may also lead to wheals (wheal and bubble), which are raised lesions filled with fluid. Wheals usually last for less than 24 hours; however, in some cases they may persist for up to 3 days.
Wheals can range from 1 cm to 10 cm in diameter.
Chronic Urticaria:
Chronic urticaria is a type of urticaria that continues for more than 6 months. The condition may occur in any age group but mostly occurs during the adolescents and adults. It affects both men and women equally.
Application Insights:
