Stabilized Hierarchical USY zeolite is a type of highly porous and microporous solid material. It has a framework of interconnected channels that are filled with organic compounds. The framework provides the structure to the material as well as allows for easy access to the interstices.
Application Insights:
Hydrocracking was the dominant application segment in 2017 and accounted for a market share of over 80% in terms of revenue. The product is used as an adsorbent to remove toxic compounds including aromatics, dienes, and olefins from feedstock hydrocarbons. It is also employed as a catalyst support in hydrotreating processes such as catalytic reforming or fluid catalytic cracking.
