The advantage of this system over single or triple groove systems is that only half the weight of material needs to be removed to change the shape and position of a given section. Single Groove:
Single Groove is a method of manufacturing Pulleys, Cylinders and Gaskets using only one continuous strip of metal. The strip is passed through a die or laser to cut the required shape. It offers several advantages over conventional grooves such as less material used, uniformity and high strength resulting in more efficient production with reduced wastage.
