Low Pressure Type:


Low pressure vacuum breaker is a device used to reduce the high vacuum that is created in a process called as degassing. It works by creating an artificial lower pressure around the vessel, which prevents gas and vapor from getting out of solution. Low-pressure vacuum breakers are most commonly used with distillation systems, but they can also be found in some chemical processes such as crystallization and drying solvents.


High Pressure Type:


High pressure vacuum breaker is a device used to break high-pressure vacuum in pipes. It works by creating a physical barrier between the gas and the pipe, thereby preventing the formation of an airtight seal. The HPVB is inserted into the pipe, which allows it to act as a valve; when activated, it creates an external pressure that overcomes internal pressure in order to prevent blockage.
