Mechanical Type:


The mechanical type is used to convert the rotary motion into linear one. It can be single or double acting. The most common types of mechanical types used in vacuum pump brake system are rod and piston, bladders and diaphragms, interrupter and clutch plate, screw pressurized systems & hand pumped systems.


Electric Type:


Electric type is used in vacuum pump brake system to act as a interrupter. It’s main function is to interrupt the current flow when the vacuum pump speed reduces below a set value. The electric type can be further classified into two types, namely normally closed and normally open.
