Product Definition:
A tire (American English) or tyre (British English) is a ring-shaped vehicle component that covers the wheel's rim to protect it and enable better vehicle performance. Radial Tire:
Radial tire is a type of tire which has a rib or series of lugs running around the outer edge. The radial design provides better traction than the standard tires and hence it is widely used in heavy-duty applications such as trucks, buses, and construction machinery. Radial tires are manufactured with steel belts along with cast iron or aluminum wheels.
Bias Tire:
Bias tire is a type of tire which is manufactured with two different types of rubber compounds, which are not mixed at the same time during manufacturing process. The two types of tires have different properties and wear resistance. One is called Asymmetric or bias-ply tire and the other one is called Symmetric or bias- carcass tire.
Application Insights:
OEMs generate higher revenues as they control the entire supply chain.
