Product Definition:
A veterinary anesthesia ventilator is a machine that helps to breathe for an animal under anesthesia. The machine can be used to help with both general and local anesthesia. Non circulating loop ventilators (NCLV) are used to support ventilation in small animals and horses. They consist of a flexible plastic tube that is connected to an airway, which allows the animal to breath easily. The device can be attached directly or indirectly through the nose and mouth using adhesive tapes or surgical tubing.
Circulatory Loop Ventilator:
The circulatory loop ventilator (CLV) is a closed system that recycles the expired air from the patient and oxygenates it by bringing fresh air in contact with blood or breath. It is used to support ventilation in critically ill patients suffering from respiratory failure. CLVs are most commonly used for treating anesthesia overdose, cardiac arrest, and severe traumatic injuries.
