Inline Vortex Flow Meters:
Inline Vortex Flow Meters is a device used to measure the flow rate of liquids and gases in pipelines. It consists of an orifice plate, which creates a vacuum around it and measures the velocity at which the fluid passes through this orifice. The principle on which it operates is similar to that of a smoke stack; as air goes through the pipe, it leaves particles behind.
Insertion Vortex Flow Meters:
The insertion Vortex flow meters are used to measure the rate of liquid or a gas being introduced into a container. It is usually used in industries such as chemical, petrochemical, pharmaceuticals and food & beverage for measuring the flow of liquids and gases into containers.
These meters are also known as sparging instruments or jet pumps because they use spinning impellers to introduce liquids or gases into containers at high velocity.
