A wafer separator is a device used to separate semiconductor wafers. It generally consists of two metal plates that are brought into close proximity, then opened slightly to create a gap between them. The wafers are then inserted between the plates and the gap is closed, causing them to be sandwiched between the plates. A voltage is applied across the plates which causes an electric field to form in the gap. This electric field pulls each of the wafers against one of the metal plates, separating them from each other.

Clean paper is made from wood pulp, which is derived from trees. The major applications of clean paper are in the manufacturing of wafer separators and as a filter medium in air purification systems. Clean paper has high surface area and low pore volume than most other materials such as metal or glass wool.


Tyvek Paper:


Tyvek paper is a type of specialty paper designed for use in wafer separators. It has high tear strength and tensile strength and low water absorption, stiffness, and weight. Tyvek is manufactured using the pulp derived from wood or recycled papers that are bleached white with no other colorants added.
