It provides an interface between the wafers and I/O devices in a semiconductor manufacturing facility. 200mm SMIF Pod has been designed to address the issues associated with 100 mm SMIF Pod such as increased heat transfer which may cause damage to sensitive device or wafer, lack of flexibility & scalability etc.
