Reverse osmosis membrane, also called R-cell, is a semi-permeable membrane that removes water from the solution. Ultrafiltration Membrane:


Ultrafiltration membrane is a thin, flexible, semi-permeable membrane that aids in the removal of bacteria and other harmful contaminants from water. Ultrafiltration membranes are manufactured using materials such as polyethersulfone (PES), polyamide (PA), nylon, and micro-mesh. These materials assist in the separation of small particles which include viruses, bacteria or larger particles such as cysts from drinking water by creating a physical barrier across the membrane surface.
