Plywood is a composite wood product manufactured by the binding together of veneers or layers of thin wood pieces with no glue. The process produces three basic types of plywood: 1) pressure-sensitive, 2) cold-resistant, and 3) hot-pressure resistant.
Particleboards:
Particleboards are manufactured by the mechanical separation of wood particles. The particle size should be less than 0.3 mm and the product is used as a substitute for sawdust in wood-based sheet materials such as plywood, oriented strand board (OSB), and some hardwood plywood subfloors, panels, and trims.
