Wet magnetic separators are used in high-intensity magnetic separator (HIMS) for the separation of ferrous from non-ferrous metal scrap. The product is made up of two main parts, namely a wetting agent and a base. The wetting agent allows the base to stick to the surface of a liquid or solid.
